CEMI News December 9th Citizens forum has been held in Kotor

The Monitoring Center CEMI held a Citizens forum on Friday, 4th of December in Kotor, where the results of the research on "Perception of citizens of Kotor on the work on their local self-government" were presented. The research was conducted using a CATI method on a stratified sample.

The speakers at the forum were: Ivana Vojvodic, research coordinator and Vlado Dedovic, coordinator of the legal team. The citizens were also informed on model s of citizens participation in decision-making process at the local level, according to the Law on the local self-government and Statute of the municipality of the Kotor. In the upcoming month the same forums will be held in Cetinje, Plav and Bijelo Polje.

The citizens forum was held within the project "Monitoring of the work of local self-government" which CEMI is implementing with the support of Ulof Palme Center in Sweden.
