CEMI news October 28th, 2008 “Projects realization started : Monitoring of Financing of political parties “

Press Conference was held at the   PR Centre on Tuesday, 28.10.2008. where the project « Monitoring of the financing of political parties-improved with new methods of monitoring the use of state administrative capacities for pre-electoral causes «  which is being realized with the support of Fundation Open Society Institute.

Goal of the project is to improve transparent and responsable system of financing of political parties and electoral campaigns . The project would include activities :

1. Monitoring of financing of electoral campaign at local elections in Kotor ;
2. Monitoring the use of state administrative capacities for pre-electoral causes ;
3. Improving existing legal framework-through monitoring the process of adoption of the Law on financing Presidential campaign, Mayors electoral campaign and campaigns for electing presidents of Municipalities as well as  creating draft of the Law on State Electoral Commision.
4. Monitoring the  implementation of the  new Law on Financing of political parties
