CEMI news July 2nd, 2008 The PRESS Conference : Results of a conducted research of public opinion on the NATO integrations presented

Monitoring Center CEMI has held a press conference with the beginning at 10 o'clock at the PR Center in the Street Hercegovacka , numb 49/II. At the conference were represented results of the research on public opinion about NATO integrations.

The Monitoring Center CEMI has, within the Euro-Atlantic integrations programme, finished the first phase of "NATO- research of public opinion" project which relies on the questioning of attitudes of citizens of Montenegro on NATO integrations using CATI method (Computer Assisted Telephone Interwieving).

The Monitoring Center has, in the period of 10th to 15th May, conducted a research on perception level of awareness, the needs for information, source of information, opinions on NATO Pact and the process of accession to the same, as well as the reasons for the expressed opinions. The research comprised of 1020 of questionees. CEMI used the Computer Assisted Telephone Interwieving method, based on the representative sample on the State level.
