CEMI news May 27th, 2008 Press conference

The realization of the project "Education of the public officials about the conflict of interest" has started.

The Monitoring Center CEMI, with the cooperation for the Commission for the Prevention conflict of interest, has organized the press conference in the PR Centre in Podgorica in Tuesday, 20th May with the beginning at 11 o'clock.

The Conference was organized in order to announce beginning of the project that will be realized with the support of Balkan Trust for Democracy, BTD fund.

The speakers at the conference were :

Zlatko Vujovic, President of the Monitoring Centre and the President of the Governing Board

Slobodan Lekovic, President of The Commission for the Prevention Conflic of Interest

According to the project, there will br organized 13 one day seminars and a two day seminar that will be organized for representatives of media.Seminars will be realized in following Municipalities : Andrijevica, Ulcinj, Kotor, Podgorica, Pljevlja, Mojkovac, Pluzine, Budva i Tivat.

Besides the host teachers, representatives of the Monitoring Centre, state Commission for the Prevention Conflict of Interest, the Directorate for the Anticorruption Initiative and Commission for Control of Public Procurement Procedure, the guest teachings of representatives of the state electoral commissions of the region were provided. (Serbia, Macedonia , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Romania and Albania)
